We delivered the single drum vibro roller Bomag BW 213 BVC-5/P to the company COLAS Hrvatska d.d.
It is a unique roller on the market. The special feature of the roller is the BVC – Bomag Vario Control system – automatic regulation of the compaction amplitude. Through the sensor, the roller in automatic mode recognizes the compaction of the substrate and directs the compaction amplitude from horizontal to max. in the vertical direction, which achieves an impressive centrifugal force of 365 kN (for more experienced machinists, the regulation can also be adjusted manually). This is particularly evident when compacting loose materials with a large proportion of sand or gravel. The roller has a working width of 2130 mm, weighs 15 tons and has a Deutz engine with a power of 115 kW.
and Ecomod power regulation. Additional vibro plates on the back ensure even better compaction. The operating frequency of the plates can be adjusted in a wide range that corresponds to different operating conditions and results in a perfectly compacted surface. During operation, the panels can be moved 70 cm to each side and, if necessary, quickly removed from the support with the help of the central locking system. A spacious cabin with an excellent view in all directions ensures maximum comfort for the driver. The built-in air conditioner and a camera for monitoring the back of the roller in operation also contribute to this. The roller is also equipped as standard with compaction control (dynamic stability expressed in MN/m2), which provides the user with timely information about the condition of the substrate and possible quick corrections in operation. The roller is intended for medium and heavy work in preparation and will ideally fit into the existing range of rollers of the company Colas Hrvatska d.d.
